Prof. Arne Ljungqvist is a member of the IOC Medical Commission and the sub-commissions Sports Medicine/Co-ordination with the NOCs and Harmonization of Rules in doping control.
Gunilla Lindberg, the SOK Secretary General, is a member of the Working Group on Women and Sport, member of the Press Commission, member of the Working Group on the Olympic Programme, 2000 and 2004, member of the Executive Board of the Association of European Olympic Committees (EOC), EOC representative in the Executive Board of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC).
Tomas Gustafson, three time Olympic speed skating champion, is a member of the IOC Athletes Commission and its representative in the Press Commission.
